Boost your immunology: oranges,turmeric and ginger!

This simple cocktail, based just on oranges, turmeric and ginger, it’s a wonderful way to boost your immunology.

Oranges are full of Vitamin C, fibre, vitamin B1, folate, pantothenic acid, potassium and calcium. Turmeric is an amazing anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory herb (I wrote a full post about it here , where you will find detail information about Turmeric) which cleans our blood, support digestion and support well functioning of our body. Ginger help us to prevent cold and flu and has anti-inflammatory properties.  Seeds which are used here (flax seeds and almonds) will provide a good fat, which is necessary for absorption of certain vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients:

  • 3 oranges
  • 2 cm of fresh ginger (or half tbs of powdered ginger)
  • 1tbs of turmeric mixed with pinch of black pepper (black pepper is strengthening active ingredient from turmeric. I wrote about it here)
  • 2 spoons of flax seeds
  • 5-7 almonds
  • 1,5 glass of natural water

 

Blend everything until smooth.  You will get  2-3 glasses of cocktail.
