Breakfast inspiration: banana porridge & pineapple-mint green juice

Good morning and some inspiration for you for a breakfast! Two fast recipes

Porridge with banana & chia

  • half glass of water
  • 4 spoons of oatmeal
  • 2 tbs of chia
  • 1 banana
  • dry cranberries for the top
  • 1/2 spoon of cinnamon
  • 1 tbs of honey (optional)

Boil the water, add the oatmeal, and cook for few minutes until fine and smooth. Add chia seeds, cinnamon and mix.

Put everything into the breakfast bowl, slice the banana, add on the top together with dry cranberies. I also add on the top 1 tbs of honey (optional)

Green juice: pineapple & mint

  • 2 big slices of pineapple
  • 1 orange
  • 2 big slices of courgette
  • mint leaves (I added leaves from 2 stalks- around 10 leaves)
  • 2 glasses of water
  • 2 spoons of flax seeds
  • 2 tbs of barley grass

Blend all the ingredients until smooth. This recipe has rather consistency as a juice than smoothie. But if I eat porridge or millet I rather make lighter version of smoothie- like a juice.
